Built by people who know the material
Orca Environmental was formed to give specialist recycling businesses something they struggle to build alone: a reliable route to market for recovered material.
Our Story
Roots in PVC recycling
The founding team begins working in plastics and recycling in the North West of England, building the operational experience the group is now based on.
We Collect Windows established
A dedicated PVC window and door recycling operation launches, offering collections to installers, fabricators and local authorities across the North West.
Processing capacity expanded
Investment in granulation and sorting capacity allows the business to take on post-industrial production scrap alongside post-consumer profile.
International operations
Operations extend beyond the UK into Ireland, Norway and Qatar, opening new collection networks and new markets for recovered polymer.
Orca Environmental formed
The group is brought together under a single identity to aggregate volume, standardise material grades and give manufacturers a dependable supply of recyclate.
Mission & Values
To keep material in productive use for as long as it is physically capable of being used — and to make that the commercially obvious choice, not the virtuous one.
Licensed and permitted
Every operation in the group runs under the correct environmental permits and waste carrier licences, with full duty-of-care documentation. No shortcuts, no grey routes.
Specification you can rely on
Recovered polymer is only useful if it behaves predictably. We grade, test and document what we supply so manufacturers can put it straight into production.
Whatever the volume
A two-van installer and a multinational manufacturer get the same service. Small volumes aggregate into big ones, and everybody needs their waste dealt with.
Landfill last
Material goes to landfill only when there is genuinely nothing else to be done with it. Everything else gets recovered, reprocessed or found a home.
